Facility Updates

City Hall 

Following the Governor's Order to “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” and the city’s Emergency Declaration issued on April 6, 2020, City Hall is closed to the public effective April 7, 2020. City services are available online or by telephone.  If you have an emergency, call 911 or contact 425-776-1161 or cityhall@mltwa.gov for general city questions. 

Utility bills may paid online or placed outside in the payment box.  Call 425-744-6214 for utility billing questions.  Passport services are suspended until further notice.

Please call 425-744-6207 for development services information including inspections.

For USPS, UPS, FedEx or other deliveries & legal service, please knock or call 425-776-1161 during business hours (8am-5pm, Monday through Friday).

Parks

On March 17, the Snohomish Health District ordered the closure of “public venues in which people congregate for entertainment, social or recreation purposes.” With this in mind, the city has closed public playgrounds, park restrooms, gazebos, in Mountlake Terrace. Effective May 5, the city's boat launch and fishing pier are open to the public as well as trails and passive parks as long as social distancing is practiced. See "Recreation Pavilion", below, for phased in opening information for recreation and parks. The dog park, tennis and basketball courts and athletic fields are currently open with social distance guidelines in place. 

Police Station

The Police Station lobby is closed to the public although the Police Department employees are still working onsite. Impacted services include in person payments, fingerprinting services and license renewals. The public can conduct most business with the Police Department over the telephone, fax, or email as well as U.S. mail. Fingerprinting services are suspended until further notice.

Recreation Pavilion

Effective March 8, the Recreation Pavilion hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday 5:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with reservations necessary for all programs. The facility is not open on the weekend. Please email mltrecreation@mltwa.gov or call (425) 776-9173 Monday-Friday to register or get more information about our programs. Athletic fields opened March 1 by reservation only and with appropriate safety plans.

Community Senior Center

The Mountlake Terrace Community Senior Center is closed for senior programming until further notice due to the Coronavirus outbreak in our area.

This closure affects is ALL programming that runs between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All ongoing rentals and groups that use our facility for meetings, events and programming will continue if groups comply with current public health regulations. Mountlake Terrace Library

All Sno-Isle Library facilities are closed until further notice in response to the ongoing public health crisis, however all online services and resources continue to be available. Sno-Isle Libraries is offering contact-free pick up and return of physical library materials but no in-library services are available at this time. Visit https://www.sno-isle.org for more information. 

The Library is offering contact-free services during the following hours:

  • Monday and Tuesday: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 
  • Wednesday-Saturday:  10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday:  10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
