Annually in September, the Recreation Park Advisory Commission (RPAC) and the Neighborhood Park Improvement Subcommittee (NPIS) invites the community to join them for a fall park clean up event that coincides with the National “Day of Service” in remembrance of September 11.
The “Day of Service” encourages residents to volunteer in their community during the week of September 11. Volunteers, with gardening gloves and tools, meet at (Location to be determined) at 9:00 a.m. to get the assignments before heading out for a park clean up project.
Volunteer groups should register with Parks and Facilities Superintendent Ken Courtmanch in advance so assignments can be planned accordingly. Contact Mr. Courtmanch at 425-776-1811. Please come and join this community cleanup effort – rain or shine.
