A public open house is scheduled for November 14, 2018 and will consist of two parts. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and take place in the large Library Meeting Room located at 23300 58th Avenue W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043.

Mountlake Terrace Police responded to an assault situation this morning, November 12, 2018 at 12:25 AM, at a home in the 23600 block of 53rd Ave W.

The caller had told the 911 operator that he had hit his deceased son’s girlfriend and that she was lying unconscious in the driveway.

Officers arrived at the home and found a deceased 29-year-old female in the driveway with massive trauma to her head.

MLT Recreation Pavilion's 50th Birthday Celebration

The City of Mountlake Terrace will celebrate the Recreation Pavilion’s 50th Birthday Tuesday, November 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Recreation Pavilion, located at 5303 228th Street SW.

There will be a free leisure pool swim from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. with prize drawings, games, dance and music performances and more. A brief ceremony and an official cake cutting will begin at 6:00 p.m.

City Offices Closed In Honor of Veterans Day

All city offices will be closed Monday, November 12 in honor of Veterans Day.

The Recreation Pavilion, located at 5303 228th Street SW, will be open regular hours.
